Create and Upload Custom Docs

These instructions only apply to Foley's Dash platform.

You may find a need to upload documents specific to your company and not necessarily part of driver qualification. To do so, begin by creating a custom document type in your Account Settings.

Add Custom Doc Types to Settings

  1. Click on the cog icon to open your Settings
  2. Open the Documents section and navigate to the Custom Documents tab
  3. Click +Add Document
  4. Give your document a name. This is the name that will appear in the upload list on your candidates and employees
  5. Add a Description and tell us whether Expiration Date and Issue Date should be required when documents are uploaded
    • If you want to receive alerts when these documents are about to expire, we recommend requiring an expiration date
  6. If you have a blank template you'd like to make available on the candidate and employee document upload, upload the blank version here
  7. Click Add Custom Document

Upload a Custom Document to an Employee or Candidate

  1. Find the employee or candidate for whom you wish to upload a document
  2. Navigate to the Documents tab
  3. Click +Upload
  4. Your custom documents will appear at the bottom of the list. Select the correct document type
  5. Drag and Drop or browse to upload a file
  6. Add any required meta data
  7. Click Upload Document
